    Summary: LED light strips are widely used in modern lighting engineering, and their reliability directly affects the lighting effect and user experience.Based on a judicial case of LED strip quality appraisal completed by the author, this article deeply analyzes the causes of the two core faults of dark zone and color control failure through on-site inspection, sampling testing (good sample/failure sample comparison), and failure analysis. The study clearly divides the dark area into external force damage type (through type) and quality defect type (local type), and reveals that the color control failure is mainly caused by the electromagnetic interference (EMI) of the LED strip itself, which is the core mechanism of interference control signal. Based on this, this article proposes systematic improvement plans and technical specifications covering process optimization,component control, electromagnetic compatibility design enhancement, and acceptance standard upgrades, providing important technical basis for the design, production, acceptance, and fault diagnosis of LED light strips.
